This project aims to service two communities in the mountainous eastern boundary of Guatemala. Currently, each community has several water sources in the form of naturally occurring springs, but they all lie lower than the majority of housing, and women must traverse treacherous paths multiple times per day to collect and carry sufficient water.

These communities are extremely resource-limited and have been supported by Fundación Cofiño Stahl to improve nutrition and health as well as economic productivity. The communities have identified water consistently as a significant need.
